Don’t Drink … Play!

If you enjoy a beer every so often, leave your cash at home if you are going to do your consuming in a casino. I am serious. Empty your purse, your money belt, and keep all cash, credit cards and checkbooks back at the hotel. Pack whatever money you expect to spend on drinks, tips and only the pocket change you expect to throw away and keep the remainder behind.

Pessimistic? Not by any means. Realistic more like. You can experience a success after a boozy night out with your friends and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute roll at a on fire craps game. Keep that adventure considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you continuously consume alcohol and wager. The two just do not go well together.

Leaving your cash back at the hotel is a little bit dramatic, but defensive measures for excessive behavior is required. If you play to profit, then do not drink and play. If you are able to afford to be wasteful with your money without a worry, then consume all the no charge booze your stomach are able to handle, but do not take charge cards and chequebooks to toss into the mix of going after losses after your inebriated brain loses every little thing!

Let me to carry this a single step further. Don’t consume alcohol and then head on the internet to gamble in your favorite casino either. I love to beer from the comfort of my condominium, but since I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have charge cards in close proximity, I can not drink and wager.

How come? Despite the fact that I don’t consume alcohol to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is definitely enough to blur my better judgment. I gamble, so I do not consume alcohol when gambling. If you are a drinker, do not wager when you do. Both create a ferocious, and costly, cocktail.
